Posters

Employers are required by state and federal law to post at their workplaces certain information concerning the rights of employees. The required posters, including federal posters, are available free of charge from New Mexico state agencies; or you can print them yourself from online files, using ordinary office printers and standard size paper (see links below). Employers should never have to pay a commercial service for posters.

Recent legislation (SB 324) will change the state minimum wage. The new minimum wage law is to take effect January 1, 2008. The state minimum wage will be $6.50 per hour. Then effective on January 1, 2009 the state minimum wage will be $7.50 per hour. New minimum wage posters will be available by January 01, 2008. More information can be read at NM Minimum Wages.
